Grief turns to anger in flooded Libya…
Libya is a country in North Africa with the Mediterranean Sea to the North and Egypt to the East.  Nowadays, confusion reigns after massive flooding and no government help.  This is causing the deep despair in that country to become extreme.
Two weeks ago, two dams collapsed during Mediterranean storm Daniel, sending a wall of water gushing through Derna. Government officials and aid agencies have given death tolls ranging from about 4,000 to 11,000
Ask God to show mercy upon Libya. Pray for organizations working alongside Libyans to help them process the tragedy and grief they’re experiencing.
Pray that “even amid devastation in Libya, that people [will] grow to understand that [God] loves them and He has provided a way in Jesus Christ that will bring comfort and eternal hope that can never be taken away,” Wiley said.

— After a 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit Morocco last week, government aid has been slow and communities are frustrated. Over 2,900 people were killed and 5,500 injured.
The Moroccan government says the areas affected by the quake are hard to access in the mountains. For now, NGOs are reaching quake zones with aid and hope. Trans World Radio (TWR) is one ministry going into the area to be Jesus’ hands and feet.
Brother N*, TWR’s Arabic Ministries Director said that TWR has showed up with the Hope of the Gospel.  He says that hope is hard to find in Morocco and that TWR is there to bring the Gospel to the hopeless.

An Iranian woman – a Christian mom – almost lost one of her twin eight-year-old daughters in a tragic accident. The girls were playing outside when one got tangled in a rope.
“By the time her mom came, she found her daughter not breathing,” Baghestani says.
The mom rushed her daughter to a hospital, where “the doctors pronounced her dead. They were wrapping the girl up to take her to the morgue, and [the mom] pulled the bed; she said, ‘Don’t take my daughter! Jesus is going to save my daughter,’” Baghestani continues.
“Then [the mom] got up, wiped her tears, [and] she said, ‘Unwrap her.’ She (the daughter) was alive, she was breathing, and she came back home. In fact, she (the daughter) talked with us, and she was all fine.”
Praise God for His compassionate intervention. Pray that people in Iran will be comforted by the Healer and experience His miraculous works during times of darkness and despair.
