The Christmas Card ministry continues, although we have encountered so many hardships this year.  My health decline this summer plus the finances that were “choking” this year and the very low total financial support we got from a few dedicated people is what we have to work with.

Many people I’ve spoken with encouraged me to curtail the ministry this year, but I simply refuse to quit, in spite of the obstacles.

Currently, we have put together cards to send to the usual places, the 98.9-FM listening area in Quitman, Laurel, Meridian and surrounding areas, to the 88.3-FM listening area in Jasper, GA, to the 99.3-FM listening area in Fort Payne (Valley Head, Mentone, Hammondville and surrounding areas), Tullahoma TN (thanks to some dedicated supporters who help us keep it going there!), and to Moulton, AL (thanks to a dedicated supporter who helps us keep this ministry alive there!).  However, we have, for the first time since we’ve been doing this, had to reduce the number of cards for each patient down to six (from twelve) due to financial restrictions.  We just don’t have enough cards to fill the entire order. 

We won’t give up!  We will do better next year!
